Summary

My work ranges across product channels, including responsive web, native apps, wearables, environmental, custom electronic devices, and print and packaging. Most recently my work has been narrowly focused on digital.

I’m wired for new product innovation projects generating lots of big ideas, as well as iterative product development driving incremental change. For either strategy, I use research and design, creativity and collaboration to ship product and improve customer outcomes.




Experience
2017-2019

Senior Product Designer

Devbridge Group
Worked within a highly experienced and collaborative design organization. Served as design lead on all my projects. Delivered product design service as a sole contributor, as a co-lead, and as a leader of multi-designer efforts.

As a key member of each product team, collaborated with product managers and engineers to define and develop a lean product vision—from big picture down to sprint planning.

Developed and executed research plans, architected service blueprints and new systems diagrams. Developed and contributed to design systems, contributed visual design concepts to developers within an agile & scrum culture.

Clients featured Wells Fargo, Hub Group, GrowthPlay, Schroders, Investor Cash Management.






2014–2017

Lead Experience Architect

Slalom Consulting
Led experience design for a special projects team focusing on digital product acceleration—getting products to market, fast.

Architected and designed screens and prototypes for iterative product development of new web apps.

Conducted lean research for ongoing product development, as well as large ethnographic studies.

Sectors ranged across health & fitness, workplace technology, finance, and others. Clients featured Weightwatchers, Microsoft, LA Live, AEG Group, The Warranty Group, William Blair, Herman Miller, Coca-Cola.

Senior User Interface Designer

Product Development Technologies
Designed interfaces for web, native, and embedded electronics products on new product development projects.

Conducted primary field research that guided user-centric ideas and decisions.

Sectors included healthcare, scientific, cellular/radio, vehicle/navigation, braille learning, and consumer tech. Clients included Intel, McDonald’s, Ronald McDonald House, Smiths Medical, AbbVie, Hospira, Roche, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Perkins School for the Blind.
